The latest version is 6.2.

If this is different from what you expect, please empty the cache of your browser and try again.

You can download the main application folder, containing the latest version of Sequence Viewer, a 'read me first' file, and a reference manual.

Download application folder.

After downloading, a disk image will be created on your desk top. If this does not occur, find the file "SV 6.2a.dmg" (the file you downloaded) and double click it; the disk image "SV 6.2a folder" should open now. Read the "Read me first SV6.2a" file for further instructions.

IMPORTANT

When you open Sequence Viewer the first time, you may receive a warning that Sequence Viewer cannot be opened because the developer is unidentified. Just press the control key, click the Sequence Viewer application icon, and select 'Open' from the shortcut menu. From now on Sequence Viewer opens as usual. The reason is that we don't want to pay Apple a yearly fee of 100 box to become a registered developer.

If you only want to update to the latest version (without the documentation), click at the downloadable file below.

Download application only.

You should only use this option if you want to update from an earlier SV 6.x version. Just replace the older SV 6.x version with the new one. If you update from a version 3, 4 or version 5 application, we strongly recommend that you download the application folder (not just the application), as well as the tutorial folder.

IMPORTANT

See 'important' note above.

If you still use a PowerPC based mac, version 6.2 will not run on it. You can however download version 6.1d here. The files created by both versions are interchangeable.

The tutorial folder contains a tutorial with a number of exercises, two demo Sequence Viewer files, and a number of other files that are used in the tutorial. With the introduction of Sequence Viewer 6, the tutorial is rewritten and extended (treating waveforms and word links). The tutorial is again updated and improved together with Sequence Viewer 6.1. Although based on version 6.1, the differences with version 6.2 are only slight.

Download tutorial folder.

After downloading, a disk image will be created on your desk top. If this does not occur, find the file "Tutorial folder 6.1.dmg" (the file you downloaded) and double click it; the disk image "Tutorial folder 6.1" should open now. Drag the folder to your SV folder (and trash older tutorial files).

You can download the Sequence Viewer manual, version 6.2, which is equal to the help file in Sequence Viewer.

Download Sequence Viewer manual.
